Chinese Academic Admits China Virtually Controls The US Establishment & Political Class Through A Network of Influential “Old Friends,” and “Fixers”

As the Washington Time’s headline put it:

“[the] Chinese boast of operatives ‘inside America’s core circle of power.”

Di Dongsheng, a professor and associate dean of the School of International Studies at Renmin University in Beijing, took center stage on Tucker Carlson tonight after a video surfaced of him admitting that under administrations (previous to President Trump) China “had people up there inside America’s core circle of power, we had our old friends.” He referred to these “old friends” as people who

The entire video is quite revealing as Dongsheng admits that he’s trying not to divulge too much information since their (China’s) sympathizers are still at work in the United States government, and financial institutions.

Dongsheng made it clear that influential Chinese sympathizers in the US government, and US financial institutions, tried all they could to stop Trump from carrying on a trade-war with China, but were ultimately unable to “fix Trump.”

At one point during the video the massive audience explodes in laughter and applause at his mention of the power of the influence of the Chinese Communist Party on the United States establishment.

“The intelligence is clear,” Director of National Intelligence John Ratcliffe said in a published article. “Beijing intends to dominate the U.S. and the rest of the planet economically, militarily and technologically. There are no moral or ethical boundaries to their pursuit of power.”

Admittedly both the United States and China are engaged in this kind of influence, and at one time the United State was winning the influence war. But times have changed, and it appears that many in the US establishment prefer the Chinese style of government, and control, to the risky freedoms of “capitalism” (or whatever is left of it) and individual liberty.

There was at time when many globalists believed that the outcome of cooperation with the “communist” government of China would be China’s slow, perhaps reluctant, acceptance of Western ideals and free-markets. It appears, however, that those who warned of China’s long-term plan to weaken the United States and usurp its position in the world were right on the money.

What I find rather telling about Dongsheng’s statements is the fact that the primary road block to China’s success in influencing American policy for the last 30 years was Donald Trump.

Here’s the original video of Dongsheng.
